Perfection is NOT achievable, Excellence however is.

The management leader strives to attain the goals of the organization through management of the work and the people. Your effectiveness depends on many factors.

Self-management comes from knowing your skills, talents and gifts. When you learn to focus on what is 'right' with you and your leadership style...

  • You become the leader you are meant to be.

  • You become the leader your employer saw in you from the start.

  • You become the leader your staff, colleagues and customers want and need.

This is your unique competitive advantage!

Your ability to lead in a courageous, effective, and dynamic manner has a direct effect on your executive leadership team’s performance, your manager’s productivity, your employee’s motivation, and your company’s profitability.

Coaching is one of the most effective tools available today to help you enhance your leadership skills, build your leadership presence, and increase your executive wisdom.

Life Saving: “I was quickly reaching burnout in my job as a manager in the health care environment. I was working 70 to 80 hours a week thinking that if I didn’t do what needs to be done, who would, ‘how would it happen’. I had to make sure everyone was happy. I thought I had to learn the "how to's and what if's" for every new change myself before bringing in other staff. The cost to my health and personal relationship was showing. I came to recognize through my coaching experience that I had an unrealistic sense of duty. I am not obligated to protect everyone from the constant change of our environment. I am not their Dad. I have been short-changing the capacity of my staff to take it on. What a relief! I don’t have to do it all myself. I get to manage and not DO everything. Last week I took the whole weekend off. I feel good about that and so do my wife and kids.”

Managing Change: “As a nurse I work in a world of constant change and found myself frequently frustrated and stressed. I would often be battling whether to quit my job or not despite the fact that I love what I do. I received coaching with Linda in the midst of one major change in my job responsibilities. I was very upset and people really noticed. I came to realize that I had lost sight of why I do what I do. Once I chose to look at this, I realized the opportunity in the changes and could actually appreciate it. The feedback at work was immediate. My normally sunny disposition had returned and I was ready to tackle my work with renewed energy.

Managing Up: A senior manager in engineering has been working on managing up. He has been criticized as a renegade because his management style is so different from others in his company. This has been seen as a problem despite the fact that his department has the highest productivity. He reflects, “I have learned to communicate more effectively with my peers and superiors resulting in a shift from a poor performance review to one that reflects exceeding expectations. My company now accepts that a different approach can be as if not more effective and is worthy of recognition.”
